About the department

• The Department of PHYSIOLOGY was inaugurated on March 2021 with 150 MBBS students. As per CBME curriculum, after completing the foundation course we started our routine Physiology classes to the students. Our department is full fledged with highly experienced, capable and motivated faculties. In addition to imparing professional knowledge, the department also takes an active role in the AETCOM modules of the students..

• Our students are highly engaged in academic activities like lecture classes. Other than routine events, our students are presenting regular seminars for every system and they are attending the MCQ session for every classes everyday. Students have regular clinical Physiology classes and they will be able to correlate with regular early clinical exposure session with our hospital.

• We have the Haematology Lab with adequate number of Instruments. With which students practice the routine practical and the are well-versed in each and every practicals.

• We also have clinical physiology lab where students are taught with clinical examinations of various systems (CVS, RS, CNS ) skills are taught. So that the students are capable learning skills in examining various clinical systems and scenario’s .

• We also have the Research lab in which there is Bicycle Ergometer, Multichannel physiograph, Polygraph , Students physiograph , Calorimeter, Priestly Smith Perimeter , Handgrip Dynometer , Basal Metabolic rate apparatus , Mosses Ergograph and also students are briefed with practical applications about the above Instruments and their clinical uses.
